House Bill 1133 provides WCCA with the opportunity to provide student scholarships, while earning you a tax credit towards your Georgia income tax liability. Under Georgia law (HB1133), tax credits will be given for donations to qualified student scholarship organizations that provide scholarships for children in K-12 who are currently in public schools and wish to attend a private school. Tax credits will be issued on a first-come first-served basis up to a statewide annual cap of fifty million dollars. If you itemize, you can deduct your contribution.
